Summit is a developer and owner of passive infrastructure in the telecommunication industry. We build, operate, and manage telecoms infrastructure as well as telecommunication rights across a number of portfolios. Our business model is premised on a very simple value proposition, we enable sharing of telecoms infrastructure across South Africa from a single point of contact. We assist entities with extensive property portfolios to realise the value of their assets and manage the increased revenue streams, assets include cell masts in all shapes and forms as well as small cell infrastructure. We either own and operate the assets ourselves and provide the opportunity for a telecom tenancy, or we manage the right to deploy the infrastructure on behalf of the building owner or a combination of both. 

Key to the urban network evolution is and will be the role that so called small cells will play in the heterogeneous radio plans. It is generally accepted that the greater the required data capacity, the smaller the average cell size becomes.

Summit has identified some key locations with a great need for telecommunication infrastructure. These areas are known to have a complex and time-consuming acquisition process. Through commitment, passion, knowledge of the legislative requirements, as well as industry experience we find solutions for telecommunication needs in these areas. As the urban network evolution takes shape, so we see our small cell abilities and rights becoming more relevant and indispensable.
